Photo of the Day: The Real Romeo & Juliet

Juliet: “Oh Romeo, Romeo. Wherefore art thou Romeo?” Romeo : “Mmphf… I’m here Juliet!”

When you pass by a statue like the one above, you think: “What an interesting art piece. I wonder what the artist was trying to portray? Would you pass the Merlot?” On the other hand, if you get two real people to mimic the body positions of that same statue in real life, you get something along the lines of “You disgusting pigs!”

that is because as a nation we tend to think of sexuality as something obscene... which aparently the artist does not agreee with... actually as strong as it is, there is something almost innocent about this statue... but this is only an opinion

Madas,
It's not just jordan or middle east or arab world. The entire world (well not entire) would shake their heads if these are two real people. You're right, although I'd like to think otherwise. The girl is simply climbing the guy's shoulder.

Even if they were doing more than just climbing his shoulders, so what! I am fine with that as long as it is displayed properly in a suitable place (not a kids playground but probably an exhibit).

Like the world has never heard of/watched/performed oral sex...
