Fast & furious influenced smart-car

It’s called the “Smartuki”, and is the brainchild of Peter Bee an Englishman who who works for MHP exhausts. Although smitten with the Smart car in its mild mannered state he felt the urge to take it to the edge by having Z cars drop in the engine of a Suzuki motorcycle. The tweaked Suzuki GSXR1000 engine produces 180 hp of power - nearly 120 more hp than a stock Smart car. The result is a microcar that goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and takes 12.4 seconds through a quarter mile and tops out at 132mph. Impressive Mod! It nearly matched a Mistubishi Evo FQ-330 in an Autosport Magazine head-to-head test. Read more about the project. Tags [] [] [] [] [] [] [] []
